Wet date pulp, which is obtained from the pressing step in the production line, including date pulp, caps, and kernels is transferred to dryers in the livestock food production hall and heated by hot airflow.
This is for reducing microorganism activity, as well as reducing weight for easy transportation. During this process, the moisture is reduced to 5-7%. Then it is crushed by a mill and finally packed in sacks or boxes.
Date powder can be used as one of the components of livestock food or used directly (as it offers a high percentage of fiber than bulk fodder).
